Mission-Critical Emergency Notification: Crime, Weather, Environmental Disasters

The Hyper-Reach system was  originally developed as a mission critical emergency notification service for municipal and other government emergency responders, including 911 operators. Excellence in a system of this type requires a rapid, easy to use interface and the ability to target various devices, locations and other demographics. Hyper-Reach is a proven solution used by large municipalities with years of reliable operations history. The Hyper-Reach portion is used by private organizations as well.

Current Hyper-Reach technology includes three aspects of  one system:

1) Hyper-Reach, a way  to notify  first responders from lists created by a master user. This portion  0f the system can be accessed from any Internet connected device or by standard telephone from any remote location. Any private or public organization may acquire Hyper-Reach for first responder notification.

2) Accu-Reach, a way to notify the public ( using Google mapping under laid with 911 data provided by the area’s phone carrier). This portion of the system can be accessed from any Internet connected device and is not telephone accessible, by design. Individuals in a client community can also subscribe to NOAA as part of their area’s geo-targeting capability– the Nation Weather Service will then automatically send notification to that individual of an impending weather emergency in a specified region with no effort on the part of the emergency office.

3) Hyper-Reach Express which provides the software for a FEMA certified government agency to access the Department of Homeland Security’s  IPAWS/CMAS system to notify, via 90 character text message, anyone with a cell phone (no sign up required and no residency required) in a targeted area (using Google mapping)  of an impending emergency event. This portion of the system is accessible only by an Internet Connected Device and has specific protocols for messages and type of use as per FEMA protocol.

Now Offering Certified IPAWS / CMAS Capability

Hyper-Reach with IPAWS/CMAS means that local, municipal, county, state and regional government agencies can become IPAWS/CMAS certified and add this critical capability to their emergency notification. Hyper-Reach Express (with IPAWS) uses local, selected cell towers to send messages to all mobile devices within range of the selected towers (chosen via geo-targeting from Google mapping) including non-residents. This capability is only available to government agencies.

~Device and Location Targeting

With Hyper-Reach/Accu-Reach  the outbound messaging is delivered to landlines, mobile phones (as text messages and voice messages), TTY/TDD and via email, all simultaneously and nearly instantly. The system converts written communications to voice cleanly and automatically. And it reports on delivery rates in real time, archiving those reports in detail.
A user has the ability to target the message by demographic data including geo-location. With the mapping interface  a user can select a neighborhood, outline a location or enter geographic data and target all devices within that area. A user can also blanket large metro and rural areas for emergencies like rapidly approaching weather, fires, or environmental disasters. In the event of a hostage or terrorist situation, specific  buildings and neighborhoods can be targeted for exclusion of notification.

More About Geo-Targeting With Hyper-Reach

Fast To Implement, Easy To Launch

Hyper-Reach is cloud-based software housed in three highly secure locations around the US, which means our clients need not invest in servers, sound equipment or IT resources. A user has the ability to log in securely to the system from any Internet connected device, including mobile devices, to compose and send a message. Hyper-Reach engineers work with 911 phone data resources from the client’s phone carriers to provide a 95% coverage system with the ability to reach as many citizens as possible, as rapidly as possible.

Hyper-Reach was designed for ease of use. Your Hyper-Reach system includes  one-on-one training for key personnel, enabling your team to develop personnel backup plans for efficient delivery of vital emergency messaging. Tech support coming from our home office in Rochester is available 24/7 and user/administrator questions are also fielded in a timely manner throughout the business day. Every request is treated as a request from a trusted partner, which is one of the many ways that Hyper-Reach distinguishes itself from other systems. Our goal is to make Hyper-Reach/Accu-Reach/Hyper-Reach Express as stress free as possible, making all users confident and comfortable with the system in times of need when nerves run high.

“The most important part of my work is providing the ongoing review, instruction and  one on one support we give to users to make them completely comfortable every time they go to send out a Hyper-Reach campaign.”
