What’s New at Hyper-Reach

At Hyper-Reach, we’re continually investing in new capabilities that make critical communications more secure, more integrated, and easier to manage. This quarter, we’re excited to introduce two enhancements designed to streamline operations for both IT administrators and emergency communications teams.

Microsoft Entra ID Single Sign-On (SSO) Is Now Available

Managing critical communications is important enough without managing another password.

Hyper-Reach now supports Microsoft Entra ID Single Sign-On (SSO) using OpenID Connect (OIDC), allowing organizations to authenticate users with their existing Microsoft credentials. This enhancement simplifies access, strengthens security, and reduces password management while fitting seamlessly into existing Microsoft 365 identity policies.

For organizations already using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), enabling SSO means employees can securely access Hyper-Reach using the same credentials they rely on every day.

Key benefits include:

  • Secure sign-in with existing Microsoft credentials
  • Centralized authentication and security management
  • Reduced password resets and administrative overhead
  • Faster onboarding for new users
  • No recurring licensing fee from Hyper-Reach for this feature

Organizations interested in enabling Microsoft SSO can work directly with the Hyper-Reach Technical Services team to complete the initial setup.

New CentralSquare Enterprise CAD Integration

We’re also pleased to announce a new integration with CentralSquare Enterprise CAD, making it easier for dispatchers to notify internal personnel without leaving their existing CAD workflow.

With this integration, dispatchers can initiate a page directly from CentralSquare CAD. Hyper-Reach automatically receives the message using standard SNPP paging protocols, creates a notification campaign, and delivers the message via SMS to the appropriate personnel. Campaign activity and delivery details are then available within the Hyper-Reach portal for tracking and reporting.

Highlights include:

  • Trigger internal SMS notifications directly from CentralSquare CAD
  • Preserve CAD as the primary system of record
  • Automatic campaign creation and delivery
  • Built-in message tracking and reporting
  • Streamlined workflow for dispatch and operations teams

This implementation supports internal personnel notifications via SMS and reflects Hyper-Reach’s ongoing commitment to integrating with the operational systems agencies depend on every day.

As public safety and business continuity requirements continue to evolve, Hyper-Reach remains focused on delivering practical enhancements that improve security, simplify workflows, and help organizations communicate more effectively when every second counts.

If you’d like to learn more about either of these new capabilities, our team would be happy to help.
